Things to Do

TeWinkle Park is a 47-acre greenspace with a pretty lake and lots of sports facilities in the heart of Costa Mesa. TeWinkle Park boasts 12 tennis courts, plus ball fields, a basketball court, and a children’s playground. TeWinkle Park is just across the street from the OC Fair & Event Center, home of the Orange County Fair. Held every year since 1890, the Orange County Fair attracts over one million visitors across 23 days of events. The fair features numerous art contests, outdoor concerts, scores of vendors, and lots of animals. Golfers can enjoy two municipal courses at Costa Mesa Country Club and an exclusive members’ course at the prestigious Mesa Verde Country Club.
 
Segerstrom Center for the Arts is a world-class attraction featuring four performance halls. The Segerstrom Center offers premier Broadway musicals and concerts, which have included superstar acts such as Taylor Swift, Elton John, Billie Eilish, and The Who. Other cultural attractions include the acclaimed three-stage South Coast Repertory theater, the intimate Costa Mesa Playhouse, and the striking minimalist masterpiece of the Noguchi Sculpture Garden at South Coast Plaza.
